Good Lovecraft, but not the best I've read. I preferred The Rats in the Walls, The Case of Charles Dexter Ward and The Call of Cthulu. From the front matter for this one: Having discovered long frozen and thought dead creatures from a time well before the first man walked the earth, an Antarctic expedition fights for survival against things that should not be.
